    Dr. Reda will be taking referrals for Internal Medicine

    Gastrointestinal Disease and Hepatology: All intraluminal disease including esophageal, gastric, small bowel, colonic, pancreatic and hepatobiliary diseases.

    Workup of anemia beyond standard investigations
    Assessment and risk stratification for suspected hereditary polyposis syndromes
    All patients requiring screening colonoscopy unless already followed by another physician in which the patient requires a follow-up colonoscopy based on another        colonoscopy already completed. 

    IBD Inflammatory Bowel Disease: All suspected, new or current Crohns and Ulcerative colitis patients.

    Cardiology:  Assessment and management of CHF, chest pain, anticoagulation management, CRT, ICD, and all other cardiology issues.

    Endocrinology: Assessment and management of DM2, osteoporosis, nodules (thyroid and adrenal), prolactinoma and all other endocrine issues.

    Rheumatology: Assessment and management of rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, scleroderma and all other rheumatologic issues.

    Nephrology: Assessment and management of renal failure, stones, nephrotic syndrome and all other nephrology issues.

    Respirology: Assessment and management of COPD, OSA, asthma, sarcoidosis, and all other respirology issues.

    Hematology/Oncology: Assessment and management of anemia, MDS workup, multiple myeloma and other hematology/oncology issues.

    Neurology: Assessment and management of patients with prior strokes, myasthenia gravis, parkinson’s and other neurology issues.

    Dr.Kearns will be taking referrals for low risk Obstetrics and general Gynaecology.

    Low risk Obstetrics

                . Prenatal care throughout pregnancy, ranging from early to late referrals

                . Labour & delivery at St. Boniface Hospital

                . Postpartum care

    * Of Note – she does not see high risk Obstetrics which includes twins and / or multiples, and planned c – sections *

    Newborn check – ups in hospital or clinic (up to 2 months of age)

    Gynaecology procedures

                . Pap tests and general Gynaecology exams

                . IUD insertions and removals

                . Endometrial Biopsies

                . Non – cancerous vulvar and vaginal lesion biopsy and removal (suitable for local anesthetic)

    General Gynaecology consults

                . Menorrhagia

                . Abnormal menstruation

                . Abnormal vaginal bleeding

                . Birth Control consultation
